Spring wreath you’re going to want to make in January!

When creativity strikes it’s important not to let it go if you can help it. On that note, I couldn’t help myself. I just had to make a spring wreath 3 days into the new year. I want it to be up until May when I make a summer one {which I’m currently brainstorming}. For this Valentines / spring wreath I found a lot of inspiration on Pinterest, of course, but I didn’t want to just duplicate anything I had already seen. So, my oldest daughter Paige (who’s 11 and pretty friggin’ creative and awesome on her own) and I went to the holiest of holiest crafting spots around us – HOBBY LOBBY.
We go to hobby lobby a couple times a month together, and this time I’m a little embarrassed to say we were there for 90 minutes just looking. It is AFTER Christmas ya know? So, we had to look at all the clearance and sale items for inspiration. Besides being scolded by a hobby lobby employee (a new low – haha) for laying out the wreath supplies on an aisle floor in order to “mock it up”, it was a pretty successful shopping trip. Combined with our 40% off a regular priced item coupon (which can be found on their website usually), we walked out with everything under $18. If we had shopped online, we would have spent a lot less, but I’m impatient. Don’t be me! Get your supplies from amazon or something and have them delivered in a few days for half the price.
