how to create consistent content for your business super fast and quickly

If you’re looking to build your brand, you’ve got to know what kind of content your followers love, and how to create content that keeps them hooked. This blog post is a handy guide on understanding your individual content needs and crafting content that speaks to your brand and your audience’s needs. This step-by-step guide will help you create meaningful content.

Heads up! Before we dive in, check out my Content Creation Planner. I’ve bundled together a planner, templates and checklists to make your content planning and creation simple. To take control of content and make things simple, you can start planning now when you Download a copy of my free content planner

Step 1 – Understand what you need to create vs what you can stop creating:

Why waste time making content that doesn’t work? To get started with consistent and effective content, you first have to figure out what clicks with your audience and what falls flat.

Try auditing your past content to narrow things down to just your best content types:

Content Consistency - content Audit

You can also do research of other accounts in your niche to see what’s working, or polling your audience.

Once you figure out your best content types, you can stay focused and on track with content going forward by strictly using what’s already proven to work. This will help you to avoid wasting time on content types and topics that are not necessary or that do not add much value to your business.

Step 2 – Pick a Hero Product to Frequently Mention in Your Content:

Your content should be tailored to your audience interests and the topics they enjoy most, but it should also be closely tied to an income generating product too.

Now that you know the content types and topics your audience is looking for most, select one related and clear product that offers a solution to your audience’s biggest problems within these topics.

This allows you to create content that is both engaging and relevant to your audience, while also driving sales for your business.

Step 3 – Keep Content Simple:

Don’t bombard your audience on every possible type of content. Stick to a few important types, templates, and methods to share your content and always aim for quality.

It’s far better to focus on content you know you can create and have a meaningful impact with, rather than trying to recreate every viral trend, or show up on every platform.

Quality over quantity.

Step 4 – For content Ideas, aim to break down the main problem of your hero product:

Let’s take that core problem and break it into four specific areas. For example, if your hero product is solving a problem related to productivity, you could focus on content topics such as time management, setting goals, and prioritizing tasks.

Talking about these areas in your content can help your audience understand their issues better and how your hero product is the obvious solution.

Step 5 – Demonstrate the Value of Your Products with Success Stories:

Tell success stories (yours or past clients) that conveys the transformation of your product. This helps in humanizing your brand and making your solution more relatable. For example, a customer testimonial about how your product helped them save time and energy in their daily tasks may be more effective than simply discussing the benefits of your product.

Here’s an example email I recently sent as an example:

Hi [FIRST NAME], I am starting to feel like this could very well be you? I know someone named Shanel. She’s a content creator and small business owner, just like you. She recently told me that she was avoiding social media, and finding it hard to find joy in it and trying to keep up.

It was all feeling like a big waste of time. Sounds kind of of familiar, doesn’t it?
But, then just last week, I was so happy to hear from Shanel again with an update that she completely turned her content strategy around. Shanel went from avoiding social media, to getting into a rhythm of posting and made 5 sales – all in just a couple weeks!

The secret? She tapped into our templates and put them to work for her. She’s utilized the Monthly Content Plans and leveraged our Exclusive PLR Products to not only streamline her content, but also started generating income from it! I am so proud of her and the action she’s taken.
This could be you in a couple of weeks [FIRST NAME ].

Step 6 – Use a Content Calendar and Checklist:

Plan your content in advance on a document you can update every week and month. On that content calendar, you’ll want to decide when you’ll post what.

Also, track the time you spend on content creation and once you know how much time each task takes, you can better schedule and manage it with a simple checklist and timer. This will help you schedule your time and be consistent each and every time you sit down to make content.

Step 7 – Use and reuse Templates

Don’t underestimate the power of templates. These little tools can be a lifesaver when it comes to creating content. Templates can be for anything – blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, you name it.

Most importantly, a good template maintains consistency in your content. This means your audience always knows what to expect from your content, which increases their comfort and trust in your brand.

But, here’s a secret – reuse them. If a particular template works well for you or got a lot of engagement, don’t hesitate to use it again. You might change the theme or the actual content, but the structure can remain the same. This not only saves your time but also gives your brand a consistent voice.

Step 8 – Don’t try too hard. Keep Your Content Authentic (and Engaging)

Remember, you’re creating an experience for your followers, not just churning out content.  Creating authentic content that’s engaging can be done by asking questions, sharing your stories, responding to comments, and engaging in conversations the way actually speak.  It’s honestly that simple.

By actively engaging with your audience and being your true and genuine self, you can build a deeper connection and create a more meaningful experience. This all can help build trust and loyalty, leading to a strong and sustainable following – plus it makes content creation that much easier when you’re not trying too hard.

Here’s a summarized process step-by-step so you can take it and run with it!:
