How to go from {_} to {_}
This type of content idea is especially great for people who have a lot of experience in their niche and are looking to share their experience and knowledge with others who are looking to do that same as you.
For example, if you have years of experience as a real estate investor and know the ins-and-outs of the industry, you could create content around what it takes to become a successful real estate investor. Or maybe you want to share your story of how you went from being an employee at a 9-5 job to working for yourself as an entrepreneur.
Here are some examples:
- How to go from employee to entrepreneur.
- How to go from imposter syndrome to confidence. (if you’re a life coach)
- How to go from being in debt to being debt-free. (if you have an investing course)
- How to go from working for someone else’s dream to living your own. (if you have a course on entrepreneurship)
Your call to action in your caption could be something like: “If you’re ready to take your [GOAL] to the next level, check out my course [INSERT COURSE NAME].”
3 reasons to {hire/buy} your service/offer/product….
This type of content idea isn’t going to go viral, but it is very effective strategy for getting interested followers to click through and learn more about your product and finally take action.
You can use this type of post to show:
- 3 benefits of using your service/product
- 3 ways it compares to other similar services/products on the market
- 3 most recent results that people have gotten with your service/product
Your call to action in your caption could be something like: “Click the link in my bio to learn more about how I can help you achieve [GOAL]!”
Who Isn’t A Match For {OFFER}
This type of content idea is perfect if you have a product or service that is very specific and targeted to a particular audience and you want to weed out the not-so ideal customers.
You could also use it as a way to educate readers about who should be using the product or service instead.
For example, if you help people launch ecommerce websites, you probably don’t want customers who are just looking to build a website for their personal blog.
Your call to action could be “if we’re still a match and you want to [GOAL], then click here to learn more about how I can help you achieve [GOAL]!”
The Top 3 Ways My Students/Clients See A Transformation After {OFFER}
This type of content idea is great because it allows you to show how the product or service can help your audience achieve a specific goal with real life examples from past clients. This is always more effective than just saying “hey, my stuff is good.”
I personally like to use real testimonial and screenshots and video clips for this.
An example would be:

Three Areas Where I Always Over-deliver
Over-delivering is a great way to stand out. If you’re already delivering more than your customers expected, then you should definitely consider posting about it on Instagram and email.
Here’s what I mean by over-delivering:
- You deliver more than expected
- You always deliver results faster than they expected
- You give them more value than they thought possible
It’s usually a good idea to pair this with testimonials or examples of how you over-deliver. For example, if you’re a fitness coach and your clients are always amazed at how quickly you help them lose weight, then consider posting about this.
Your call to action could be: ” Want to [GOAL] like my clients too? Click the link in my bio more about how I can help you!”
Imagine how it would feel to have {result} and {feeling}
This type of content idea is particularly useful for those who sell a more intangible product that is directly related to your audience’s goals.
If your audience struggles and is seeking relief, this exercise of imagining can be a powerful one.
Examples might be:
- Imagine how it would feel to lose weight and feel more confident at work. (fitness coach)
- Imagine how it would feel to have more money in the bank and less stress. (finance coach)
- Imagine how it would feel having more time to do the things that matter most. (time-management coach)
- Imagine how it would feel to feel confident, happy and at peace with yourself. (life coach)
The content you create can then be based on that feeling. You can describe it to the reader, give them examples of how other people have achieved this result and provide tips and tricks for doing the same thing.
Your call to action could be: “To get started on the path to feeling more [GOAL, GOAL, GOAL], download a copy of my [LEAD MAGNET/OFFER] in my bio”
The story of why I created {offer}
This type of content is often the most effective, because it can be relatable. People want to hear about real people and their struggles and ah-ha moments, so they can learn from them. They want to know that others have gone through similar experiences and come out on top.
You can be an inspiration too. A lot of people I talk to have told me how impactful this type of content is for them; it really helps with their sales as well.
What I wished I’d known when I started {TOPIC}
This content ideas works because it gives people the chance to see what you wish you knew when you started a certain topic. It also helps them better understand your experience and how it can help them with their own business or life. This type of content is also great for helping newbies get started with something, because they can see how someone else did it and learn from their mistakes.
3 things you need to know before {hiring me/buying my course when it launches/ etc}
This type of content is great for helping people decide if they want to hire you, buy your course, or whatever else it may be.
It helps them know what they need to do before doing so, and how they can prepare themselves for the process in general.
It’s a great way to build trust, be transparent, and can give your ideal customer/client an idea of what to expect when working with you and will help them feel more confident about hiring/buying from you.
